Art has always been a part of my life. As a child I was drawing and painting and by high school I was doing murals and sold my first painting. After graduating from college with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art and Design my education continued working in advertising agencies and art studios. I also worked for the U. S. Forest Service as a Visual Information Officer where I worked on brochures, drawings and exhibits.
Later living in different parts of the U. S. I studied with other artist and returned to my love of painting in watercolor and oil and other mediums. My special interest has always been the human form and the challenge of capturing the likeness and spirit of a person and i have done many commissions throughout the United States. I also teach classes in at the Huntsville Museum of Art and have taught workshops in Australia and I am a member of the Portrait Society of America.
